Hollings Driving Tuition
These Terms & Conditions apply to all driving lessons and services provided by Hollings Driving Tuition. By booking lessons, you agree to the terms outlined below.
1. General Information
Hollings Driving Tuition provides manual driving lessons in Dereham and surrounding areas. All lessons are conducted by a qualified driving instructor in accordance with DVSA guidelines.
2. Lesson Bookings
- Lessons must be booked in advance via phone, website, or agreed communication method.
- A booking is only confirmed once agreed by the instructor.
- Block bookings are subject to availability.
3. Payments
- Payment for lessons must be made in advance or at the start of each lesson unless otherwise agreed.
- Block bookings must be paid in full before the first lesson.
- Payments are non-transferable unless agreed at the instructor’s discretion.
4. Lesson Cancellations
- A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule a lesson.
- Lessons cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice may be charged in full.
- If the instructor cancels a lesson, an alternative time will be offered or a refund provided.
5. Punctuality
- Students must be ready at the agreed pick-up location and time.
- If a student is late, the lesson may still end at the scheduled time.
- If the instructor is late, the lost time will be made up where possible.
6. Driving Licence & Eligibility
- Students must hold a valid UK provisional or full driving licence and present it upon request.
- It is the student’s responsibility to ensure they are legally entitled to drive.
- Lessons may be refused if the student is under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or medication that impairs driving ability.
7. Health & Fitness to Drive
- Students must inform the instructor of any medical conditions or disabilities that may affect their ability to drive.
- The instructor reserves the right to cancel a lesson if safety is compromised.
8. Use of Vehicle
- All lessons are conducted in a fully insured dual-controlled manual vehicle.
- Students must follow the instructor’s guidance at all times for safety reasons.
- Smoking, vaping, or inappropriate behaviour is not permitted during lessons.
9. Driving Tests
- Students must be deemed test-ready by the instructor before using the instructor’s vehicle for a practical test.
- Test bookings are the responsibility of the student unless otherwise agreed.
- Use of the car for a driving test includes a warm-up lesson and the test duration.
10. Refund Policy
- Refunds for unused lessons from block bookings may be provided at the instructor’s discretion.
- No refunds will be issued for lessons already taken.
- Gift vouchers (if applicable) are non-refundable.
11. Liability
- While every effort is made to ensure safety, Hollings Driving Tuition is not responsible for:
- Test outcomes
- Delays caused by traffic or weather
- Any indirect or consequential losses
12. Data Protection
- Personal information is collected only for booking and communication purposes.
- Your data will not be shared with third parties without consent, except where required by law.
13. Changes to Terms
Hollings Driving Tuition reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. The latest version will always be available on the website.
